Our Purpose

To keep Brody’s memory alive, we donate $3000 to the NSCC Nautical Institute each year, helping Sea Aholic’s reach their goals and begin/further their career on the water. 
A portion of the proceeds support the Brody Shaw Memorial Fund as well. This is used to support local charities and families in need via GoFundMe donations, and food/clothing/toy purchases during the Holiday season.
From our family to yours, we appreciate all the support and are grateful we get to give back to the communities and people that need it.

About Sea Aholic

My son had a natural love for the sea, born in a small fishing village on the south shore of Nova Scotia. 
He made a living and a life on the water. During his last few months on earth, we had conversations about fishing being the only time he felt at peace. He said "Mom, it's all I think about, I'm addicted to it."
He was a hard worker, a dedicated fisherman, and was addicted to the sea. In his memory, I made Sea Aholic, to share his love and everyone else's love for the ocean. 
The sea brings so much into people's lives whether it's for work, pleasure, relaxation, or to sit and remember the ones we have lost.

Brody Shaw Memorial Car Show

The Brody Shaw Memorial Car Show was founded in 2024 to celebrate the love of cars, family, and community while making a meaningful difference.

Each year, a portion of the proceeds is donated back into our local communities to support causes that matter. Our mission is to bring people together, create lasting connections, and remind everyone that no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

We are passionate about raising awareness for mental health, addiction, and those experiencing hardship. Through the shared love of cars, we hope to build a stronger, more compassionate community—one event, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time.
